Nitro is an a cappella quartet from the Toronto area, dedicated to singing old and modern songs in a new and exciting way.

The quartet aims to please audiences with selections ranging from traditional barbershop music to vocal jazz, with a sprinkling of doo-wop and many other styles mixed in for good measure. In October 2008, the quartet were thrilled to take the title of Ontario District Quartet Champions, beating out 19 other fantastic quartets for the honour.

November 20-22 & 20089

Nitro performed for the Downtown Yonge BIA on Elm Street between Yonge and Bay for the Ice, Wine and Dine festival on Friday and Saturday, and were featured on City TV on Friday night. Thanks to our friend Pat who ably filled in on bari on Friday night while Erik worked, and to all of the new friends we made! Hope to see you soon.

On Sunday we sang at the Detroit Institute of Art to promote the movie "American Harmony" in the Detroit area.
